These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website and services provided by StampSig ("we", "us", or "our") at https://stampsig.com (the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service immediately.

We provide the Service "as is" and make reasonable efforts to maintain availability, but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or the absence of technical errors.

• Service / Site — the online platform at stampsig.com that allows users to add stamps, signatures, and apply visual effects to documents.
• User — any individual who accesses the Service, with or without a registered account.
• Stamp — a graphic file (PNG or other supported format) uploaded by the User and placed on a document.
• Signature — an image of a personal handwritten signature in PNG or other supported format.
• Document — a file in PDF, JPG, PNG, DOCX, XLSX, or other supported format uploaded by the User for processing.
• Premium — paid subscription plans that unlock additional features and higher usage limits.

StampSig is a browser-based tool for adding stamps, signatures, and visual effects (including scanner simulation and aging effects) to documents. Users can upload a document, edit it with the provided tools, and download the result.

All core processing is performed locally in your browser. Documents are only transmitted to our servers when a feature explicitly requires it (e.g., DOCX-to-PDF conversion). Any file stored on our servers is automatically and permanently deleted within 24 hours of the last user action. Users may delete their files earlier at any time.

The User is solely responsible for verifying the correctness of the final document and for ensuring that the use of any uploaded stamps, signatures, or images complies with applicable law.

By using the Service, you agree to:

• Not use the Service to create fraudulent, forged, or otherwise unlawful documents.
• Not upload files containing viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
• Not infringe the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other rights of any third party.
• Not use the Service in any manner that could damage, overload, or impair it.
• Keep your account credentials confidential and notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
• Comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations.

You are solely responsible for all actions taken through your account and for the accuracy and legality of any content you upload or generate using the Service.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms without prior notice.

The basic functionality of the Service is available free of charge. Certain advanced features (such as extended processing, higher file size limits, and priority queue) are available under paid subscription plans ("Premium").

Payments are processed by third-party payment providers over secure, encrypted connections. We do not store or have access to your payment card details.

A subscription is considered activated upon successful payment and activation of the corresponding features. Refunds are available if a paid feature is technically unavailable due to a fault on our side, provided you contact us within 7 calendar days of payment.

EU consumers: In accordance with EU consumer protection law, you have a right to withdraw from a digital service contract within 14 days of purchase, unless the service has already been fully performed with your prior consent.

We may also accept voluntary contributions to support ongoing development. Contributors may receive benefits such as priority processing as a token of appreciation, at our discretion.

All content, branding, software, and design elements of the Service are the property of StampSig or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

You retain full ownership of any documents and images you upload. By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process and temporarily store your files solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, StampSig shall not be liable for:

• Any decisions, actions, or consequences arising from documents processed using the Service.
• Loss or corruption of data resulting from incorrect file uploads or technical failures.
• Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages of any kind.
• Service interruptions, delays, or errors caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
• Loss of data after the 24-hour automatic deletion period described in Section 3.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD 50, whichever is greater.

EU consumers: Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any rights you may have under mandatory applicable consumer protection law in your country of residence.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. We comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Please review the Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will meet your specific requirements, that results obtained through the Service will be accurate or legally valid, or that the Service will be error-free.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. The current version is always available at https://stampsig.com/terms. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice on our website or by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect.

Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you must stop using the Service.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any disputes amicably.

EU/EEA users: Nothing in these Terms affects your rights as a consumer under the mandatory laws of your country of residence. You may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

US users: Any disputes not resolved by mutual agreement may be submitted to binding arbitration under the rules of a recognized arbitration body, on an individual (not class-action) basis, except where prohibited by applicable law.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, without prejudice to any other remedies.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law) will remain in effect.
